About Right Triangles

A right triangle is a type of triangle that has one angle equal to 90°. The side opposite the right angle is called the hypotenuse, which is always the longest side. The other two sides are called legs.

The Pythagorean theorem (a² + b² = c²) and trigonometric ratios (sine, cosine, tangent) allow us to calculate all sides and angles if two values are known.
